Too Early to Think of a Title

The coffee hasn't kicked in yet, so forgive me.

First of all, I promised a good toddler pic of Carwin.

Such a cutie!

 

He is cute & barely ever throws a tantrum. Or did; he's a child now.

 

 

So, I'll update the gift list for Nikia first. She gets a lot of fridges... I'm running out of places to put them.

 

She also received 2 admirer gifts from Wylie.

Aw, he wuvs her.

Nikia is so cool she gets celebrity points in her sleep!

Nikia earned her 3rd star. I'll tell you what, this is the hardest time I'm ever had getting stars! Usually it just happens & I resign myself to the papas & disgrace. The one time I want it, it's nearly impossible!



Lillian finished Scouting.

 

Rebecca is a great big sis.

And she went to her first prom.

She had a great time, got into a fight & remains single.

Lillian decided to enjoy Spooky Day to the fullest.

She decided to go Trick or Treating first, then went off to the Festival.

Picked some wildflowers to give to her mom, auntie & cousin.

Then explored the Spooky House.

"Psssh. That wasn't so spooky..."

 



Then it was time to go back home for Aunt Nikia's costume party.

 

I've been trying not to invite so many people to her parties since the bulk of the attendees were standing out front. I pretty much sort by stars & go from there. I mean, the woman is up to 64 friends. You gotta draw the line somewhere.

 

The party was largely uneventful. However, I did learn one thing:

 

In the battle of Tiger vs Cow-Plant...

The next party was a biggie: Lillian's birthday!

I wonder what she's gonna wish for??

Not bad, hm? And she actually smiles as a teen. Not that weird, constipated face she made as a child. However, she is still very stoic.

 

And, it so happened that her birthday fell on a prom night!

 

And it was there that she fell in love with Ellis Lee. Now, usually the prom romance things are a pain, but those two make a good pair. He's artistic & virtuoso, but a bit neurotic. She's artsy as well, but brave & pretty much unafraid of anything. That combo makes me smile.

And perfect since the next gen is a couple & I decided a while ago that Lillian would be my heir.

 

I guess seeing her baby grow up & go off to prom depressed Janet because as soon as Lillian left she went straight to the bar & started drinking.

That weekend Lillian & Rachel decided to head out to watch a movie. They met up with Ellis Lee there & dragged him along (as if he was going to argue).

Then they went to the restaurant to have some dinner.

 

The girls decided karaoke was next.

Rachel was getting tired, so she headed home leaving Lillian & Ellis to their own devices.

Aw. Lillian is totally taken by Ellis & I think he feels the same way. Unfortunately she lost track of the time & the police ripped her away from her Romeo right after their first kiss.

I doubt she regrets anything.

Janet was unimpressed & grounded Lillian.

But Lillian isn't about to be contained... (and, you know, school is kinda important).

Lillian did apologize & helped with chores so was forgiven pretty quickly. Janet isn't the type to hold a grudge.

Once the shackles were off Lillian called Ellis & asked him out again. He readily agreed to meet her at the cinema.

They watched the stars, talked about art & just enjoyed the evening... Unfortunately they lost track of time again & Lillian got in trouble. Grounded again.

Meanwhile, I was so caught up in all this I forgot Carwin's birthday!

He seemed upset. I felt terrible.

Gave him a great makeover & promised a big party the next day. He seemed okay with that.

 

And guess who Lillian invited to the party...

Hey, just because she's grounded doesn't mean he can't come to her, right?

Birthdays & Regular Days

Rebecca is now a teen & Carwin is a cute little toddler that is just happy to hang with the ladies. I figure I'll touch on the few things that have happened since most days are just Janet gardening, Nikia working, the girls going to school & Carwin just chillin' with his toys.

I have a couple of pics I want to share, just because.

Rebecca's birthday party was, again, a big deal. Nikia invited everyone she knew.

As I've shown, Rebecca looks exactly like her mom with black hair.

 







This is getting ridiculous.

As you can see, Nikia has a lot of friends. This causes a traffic jam during her parties. You'd think a few of them would decide to go around the house to the back door, but no. They stand outside & mingle, which is fine I guess.

 

 

They all seem to have a good time. (53 'great party' messages, by the way. Insanity.)

 

I got one toddler pic of Carwin, but his eyes were closed. I'll update this with a better one later, but for now I'll just post about his lessons in becoming upwardly mobile & talking.

 

So, Nikia has been teaching Carwin about the important things in life:

 

 

Spa services.

 

Caribbean vacations.

 

Quantum physics.

... Wait. Nikia, wtf do you know about science? -shakes head-

Anyway...

We have a winner! 'Paintbrush' was Carwin's first word.

Quickly followed by 'Award'. He is definitely his mothers' son.

Nikia definitely loves & enjoys her kids.

Rebecca is off to a rocky start as a teen though. She aged up & the next morning I heard a whine from her room. I immediately thought it was Lillian... nope. I was greeted by this face:

Fun times, fun times.

 

Luckily, Janet decided she was going a bit stir crazy & she wanted to go out, so I sent Rebecca & Lillian out with her so they could bond & Nikia could do the same with Carwin.

 

 



They had fun watching a movie & then going to the diner for some dinner. One of Rebecca's friends called her over to hang out so she decided to head over there, Janet & Lillian went home to clean up & get ready for bed. All in all not a bad day.

Changes

I must say, a lot happens in a short time. I feel like I'm constantly posting because these ladies move along so quickly.

First of all, they are rich. Like, more than I ever wanted them to be rich. Janet's considerable efforts have brought them considerable wealth & their opportunities give them thousands of simoleons in one shot. Considering they usually have 3 going at a time, that's a lot of moolah.

I honestly hadn't noticed until Nikia rolled a wish to move & I was like, "Yeah, right... you guys don't have enough..." Well, they did & once I sold all their stuff on the move (besides any gifts Nikia had received & momento stuff) they still had a bit for Nikia's 'Remodel the house' midlife crisis wish.

So, new house, new look, new friendships (Nikia is up to 45 friends. 45!)

So, let's recap!

Wiggles has been unleashed into the world!

 

This is Wiggles, Rebecca's imaginary friend. I let it out & quickly put it back in her inventory as they annoy me greatly. And this one is a slob... I can handle messes, but the burping & farting? Not a chance in hell.

 

Rebecca is very attached the her Auntie Janet. She insists on sleeping in her bed every night. I've tried to direct her to her own bed, but no, even though Lillian tends to wake her up in the middle of the night with her crying.

Nikia is moving along in her career & regularly gets jobs outside of the rabbithole, which is always fun.

And Nikia has won a Sim's Choice Award, which she displays proudly. I think receiving that has been the highlight of her life so far.

 

Nikia & Wylie have been getting pretty close lately. They had been estranged for some time, but then she got a random party invite & they've been practically inseparable since... Much to Wylie's wife's dismay, I'm sure.

So, Nikia has taken to throwing parties every weekend. She literally wishes to throw a party every weekend & now has a wish to throw 5 great parties. So, I guess we're gonna party a lot.

The latest  parties have been very big & very eventful.

Their housewarming was so big there was a huge line at the door to get in. Eventually people just mingled out there & it was a fun time. Nikia hired a mixologist & brought folks drinks & Janet brought them food.

 

And then this happened.

Oh Nikia... When will you learn to wrap that rascal??

 

Baby #3 is a done deal. Thank goodness! I'll be honest: I don't enjoy babies or toddlers. I like to get the childbearing over with as soon as possible. So every generation will probably have their kids in rapid succession.

 

Anyhow! A day after that was Lillian's birthday. This party was a huge deal. Janet invited every kid they knew & their parents, as well as a few old friends. 

Now, Lillian is an odd duck. She never smiles. She makes these faces like she's in pain or something & always looks as if she's ready to kill someone. It actually makes me laugh. I mean, she has no traits to make her that way (I chose Daredevil for her childhood trait, just for fun). So I have no idea what her issue is.

I have cake, but I'm still gonna give you the stink-eye.

 

I mean, wtf is that face?! Is it a smile? A frown? Did she poop her pants? Life with Lillian will be interesting, no doubt about it.

 



And then all hell breaks loose as Lanya Avilla goes into labor. There's screaming & panic (though Matias Singh is happy to see Janet). Janet panics, but then saves the day by bringing Lanya to the hospital.

Lanya has a beautiful baby girl & Janet gets to be there to welcome her into the world.

Meanwhile, Nikia discovers that she's pregnant as the party rages on.

And tells Wylie.

"I'm pregnant Wylie!" "OH SH-"

 

I love his expression in that pic. Totally an 'Oh shit' moment. Guess his wifey will know what kind of mischief he's been up to, hm?

 

 



And the party rages on into the wee hours.

 

Been really quiet since. Wylie has stopped calling (probably in deep with his wife) & Nikia has taken up a new hobby.

 

She went over to Darren Lott's house & started something I never wanted to happen because...

He is Fugly. And evil. And he looks at Nikia with these little intense beady eyes & I just know he's plotting things...

No Nikia! RUN! Run away as fast as you can!!!

 

I dunno what's up with Nikia though. She literally wants to kiss every guy in town. Whenever she interacts with a male sim she wishes to kiss him. She's not even flirty!

 

 

The inevitable day came when Nikia went into labor & then we welcomed Carwin into the world.

A boy in a house of girls. Poor kid. He gets to inherit all of the girls' pink things.

I chose Athletic & excitable for him. I think excitable Sims are so freaking adorable, despite it kinda being a junk trait. They're just so happy about everything & phone convos are the best with exciteable Sims.

As a side note, poor Nikia. I hate to say this but she's just not aging well. In recent screenies she just looks old. Maybe it's all the tanning. lol
